Bitter Brew creates an atmosphere of excitement regularly at favorite Irish pubs including John Sullivan’s (formerly Black & Tan) in Augusta and Byrnes Irish Pub in Bath, Maine. Known for so many fun filled years at the weekly Irish American Sing Along at Byrnes, Bitter Brew continues to attract folks, young & old, from near and far, creating a Sing Along pub family second to none.

The duo of Cyndi Longo and Mama Beth Revels often stretch their musical roots by playing a variety of Celtic, Americana (Classic and Modern), folk and Old Time music. Their recognized flexibility in musical styles have led to some favorite performances from playing for the Irish American Club of Maine, to playing old time folk songs at the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum, to playing all Newfoundland music at the annual Maine Newfie Picnic and to playing familiar Pop/Country/Folk songs at several local pubs. Bitter Brew can regale any private party, house concert or event with an intimate, captivating, rollicking, always enjoyable performance. With strong harmonies, the steady beat of Cyndi’s bodhran, and the accompaniment of Mama Beth on 12 or 6 string guitar, Irish tenor banjo, or the octave mandolin, this duo is sure to entertain.
